This is just something I wanted to see if I could make digitally. I’ve always kinda wanted to do a space story and a prerequsite to that is the ability to do space objects. so this is an attempt to do just that.

Oh, hello there. Didn’t see you come in.

Yes, it’s tuesday and it’s sketchblog and it’s me, the lovable Carl. My sketch is me working out how I want a character, I’m calling him Chet for right now, should look. It’s for a short animation I wish to do, not some fancy comic. Basically, I was trying out hairstyles as I seem to be able to draw 1 or 2, but wanted to see if I could explore more. Which is hard after not drawing for a few months.

But there you have it. Proof. Next week tuesday I should have some designs for the female lead. Makes me wish I could draw girls better!

So this is the idea: each week I’ll bring you at least one sketch. It could be simple, or complex, one or many but there will be something each friday, and at least one bit has to be new. Also, as it goes on other people will join me.

This week it starts off simple with a inked sketch of Scott from The Adventures of Scott, In his work uniform, so to speak.

Random Sketches, You bet! this ones of certain Serpentine characters Emma and Gideon you may notice that both look slightly different than in the actual comic (which will be back up online soon I promise) and that is intentional, but I am not going to divulge my secrets yet.
